Low Salt Shoyu sauce has a reduced sodium content and it is made from a unique double fermentation process. The low salt shoyu sauce still has the same strength of a regular shoyu but it contains only half of the sodium content. The salt used in the fermented products is different from traditional salt. Low salt shoyu was developed for people who want to limit their intake of salt.
